My father offered to pay for me to have Bariatric surgery last year, I did all the Dr. Appointments etc and 3 days before the surgery he backed out because of some law suit he is dealing with. He takes vacations all the time and buys his wife a new car like every year. I know my dad has the money. I owe many medical bills for this surgery that I did not have and he promised to help me with it when he could. He just returned from Jamacia a few weeks ago. Remember he offered to pay for this. I never asked. So I be angry? Sometimes I think he would have done it already if it wasnt for the biatch his wife.

I tried walking to lose weight, and I ended up with shin spints and more back pain.

I’m still 80 lbs overweight. Too little to get my HMO to pay for a dietician and possibly bariatric surgery (stomache stapling). But it’s like carrying around a 80 lb boat anchor wherever I go.

I’m young and keep very busy, but I just can’t lose weight

I need to get on some type of contraceptive. I don’t want something that lasts for more than 2 years. I’m thinking of the pill but I’m horrible at taking pills at the same exact time everyday much less remembering to take them everyday. Any suggestions?

ALL of her OLD health problems are gone, but now she has several new ones but they dont know what they are… She has something wrong with the Pancreas, so they think. They keep taking her in for surgeries and dont know what they are going in for and just try to repair her. She is in SEVERE PAIN ALL THE TIME!!! She is litterly having contractions because it feels like something is closing. They are sending her to Mayo Clinic because it is so bad. What do we expect? In addition, the mortality and complication rates are higher than that of alternative Bariatric surgical procedures.” I have been approved for Roux-en-Y gastric bypass.

Does anyone know how I can convince my insurance company that the Duodenal Switch is the right procedure for me?

I don’t want to mess them up. I am and have been very unhappy in this relationship for a long time. He knows somewhat but really if he payed attention would know completely. I am planning on leaving within the next 4 months or so, the reason I have not told him is because I am going in for Bariatric surgery in amonth or so and need the insurance. I also know this will be a rough time and want there to be as much normalcy as possible for the kids. I do feel extremely guilty about not telling him what my plans are but don’t know what else to do. We have had problems in the past and things will get better for a while but than it just goes back to the same old crap. I do care about him and feel bad but I know I have to leave for the sake of my own sanity. What is the best way to handle this and make kids be ok?
I have asked him to go to conseling but he will not, and he is the type of person who would not participate in it anyway.
